Believe it or not, I’ve been too busy to blog! Summer is rapidly ending. Little Bryan is back in school; Mom is back at work. What I’m really trying to do right now is recapture some of the energy I had last year! I finished writing Inevitable in May and spent most of my nights working on it until it was done. But I have been so tired so far this year. I feel like I should have much more accomplished than I do, but then I remember…. I finished writing Man with Money in July, published Inevitable in August and it IS only September 4th. I am halfway through re-editing Man with Money after the “corrupt file” debacle that occurred in August. I’m still on track for an October release.
I have chapter one of Man with the Mafia written and have a general plot outlined. More about that story in another post.
I am working on a rough outline of Indecorum, The Tales of Chapel Hall, Book One. There are a lot of details to be considered. I have to tell Caprice and Jordan’s individual story while continuing our mystery. Adrian and Machelle are leaving soon for their “secret” honeymoon. And I kept thinking, we want to know what happens on that honeymoon, don’t we? After all, it’s Adrian and Machelle. It’s not likely that trouble, in one form or the other, isn’t likely to find them. And…well, it’s their honeymoon. Adrian finally has his bride. You can expect the steam level to rise a little in this novella, but I’m also going to use it as a vehicle to continue to see Machelle grow and mature, and Adrian to continue to deal with his issues. He loves her, yes, but he can’t keep her locked away, hidden from the world. But I think this story will be told predominately, though not entirely, from Machelle’s point of view. Tentatively, I’ve titled it “Machelle”, though in my mind, I keep referring to it as “The Honeymoon Book.” LOL!
