Man with Money releases October 5th and I am so excited to share this story with everyone! For fans of Inevitable, you need to know that Man with Money is an adult romance with adult content, but it’s already getting good reviews, including from my own mother! She loves this book! If you like rich, passionate, domineering alpha males and feisty strong heroines, then you’ll like Man with Money. It’s the first in the “Man with -” series about a group of young romance writers who all fall in love with men who represent the genre in which they write. It’s been fun to come up with the characters and the scenario that could match each trope. Honestly, I can see this series going on for a very long time! I encourage you to give my first contemporary romance a try. One reviewer commented that “Tyler’s Murphy’s confidence made him incredibly sexy!” Now, that’s what I want to hear.
Besides preparing for Man with Money’s release, this week, I got to host a takeover of the Historical Romance Lovers Facebook page. It was amazing! So much love and support from that group – it was almost overwhelming. And being able to share Inevitable, as well as the rest of the series….well, that just felt good. It’s so hard to get the word out. I can’t thank Lily Baldwin enough for extending the invitation. The members of this group take their reading seriously so I paid attention to every word they said, every comment they shared, and every bit of advice they offered. I can’t wait to do this again after the next few come out!
Speaking of next…I am currently working on Man with the Mafia but as usual, I had to take a breather this week as the plot starts to take shape. I always let it “simmer” when I need to move from one pivotal part of a story to the next so right now, Vincent and Dee are simmering.
In the meantime, I am finetuning my notes for Indecorum – the Tales of Chapel Hall, Book Two. Lots of detail for this one. Our mystery deepens. A new love awakens. Once Man with the Mafia is written, the focus reverts to getting Indecorum out by summer.
In the meantime, I am also working on “Machelle – A Tales of Chapel Hall Novella: The Wedding Trip” Adrian and Machelle are together. Don’t you want to be a fly on the wall for that honeymoon? But, nothing is ever easy for those two,is it? Mayhem continues even as their passions flare. This one will be in ebook format only. I’m halfway done with forming a plot although, I’m thinking, it’s a honeymoon. I may be throwing the bedroom door wide open……
And I’ll also contribute to Insatiable as time allows. Once Man with the Mafia is done, and Machelle is out, then it’s onto the Legends of Chapel Hall as well. It’s going to be a busy year, but I can do it. I’ll leave you with this note:
The other day I mentioned to my husband that I had sold a book that day ( one book at a time is my motto). He looked at me and said, “Oh yeah? Which one?”
I just grinned and said, “How cool is it that you get to ask me that? Which one?” Then I laughed, got all teary eyed and he grinned that “my wife is crazy” kind of smile. Yes. This is good!
